Th long-awaited second album by Swedish female hard rock outfit THE GEMS is finally at hand. Hard rocking and surprisingly melodic tracks that can easily even outshine the 2024 debut "Phoenix". And to put things straight, THE GEMS are the better THUNDERMOTHER by now for sure. Frontwoman Guernica Mancini offers a broad variety vocally whereas Mona "Demona" Lindgren (g) and Emlee Johansson (d/b) fully deliver, too. The production, too, is superb and takes no prisoners.
