DGM - Life (CD)

DGM are not only one of the most expierenced progressive metal bands, no, the Italians obviously are in excellent shape these days. "Life" marks album number twelve and combines all the qualities for probably the best record in their impressive history since their incarnation back in 1994. Stunning melodies meets heaviness and great musicianship meets versatile songwriting. To highlight certain tracks seems to be impossible but "Unravel The Sorrow" or "Second Chance" provide an appropriate first glimpse. Comparisons to DREAM THEATER - in their heydays! - are the real deal here. Wow! (MS)
