Arc Angel - Arc Angel (CD)

One of the true classics of pomp rock/ AOR is Jeff Cannata's album "Arc Angel" by the eponymous formation ARC ANGEL from 1983. Bad Reputation re-release this highlight produced by Tony Bongiovi and with 3 bonus tracks. One highlight follows the next here - songs like "Tragedy", "Rock Me Tonight" and "King Of The Mountain" have influenced numerous subsequent bands and retrospectively one has to say that ARC ANGEL were simply ahead of their time in 1983 in terms of song-writing, musicality and production. Unfortunately, they never reached this class later on again nor have achieved the commercial success like e.g. STYX. Nevertheless ARC ANGEL belongs in every well sorted AOR collection. (BS)
