House Of Shakira – XIT (CD)

Swedish melodic outfit HOUSE OF SHAKIRA around Andreas Novak (v) start with the extremely melodic "Something In The Water". The tenth album in total is the best in a long time as there are barely weaker moments and as usual is stylistically comparatively versatile. The five-piece is not the typical melodic band which offers almost no surprises but they are brave enough to break free from well-known melodic territory in many occasions. The sound on "Xit" is diverse and multi-layered. Tracks like "Toxic Train" or "Your Exit" deliver exciting details even after a dozen spins. Cool band!
