MELVIN JAMES (vocals, guitar, bass) is an AOR artist from Minneapolis, USA, whose album "The Passenger" was originally released in 1987 by MCA Records. In addition to James, it features Joe Vitale (Joe Walsh) on drums, among others. The album was produced at the time by Bill Szymczyk (The Eagles).
So the genre is clear - MELVIN JAMES is mostly in the intersection of BRYAN ADAMS, the EAGLES and JOE LAMONT, but is also not afraid to include some 60's influences now and then.
Fine release for all AOR fans, remastered and with a new booklet now reissued by Bad Reputation!
