D'OR - Antiheroes (CD)

Album number two of the Swiss hard rock outfit. D'OR wander somewhere stylistically between SKID ROW, ARMORED SAINT and ACCEPT but are able to set their own pace ("Her Name Was Alice" or "Cold Drink In Hell"). "The Howling" could be part of almost any ALICE COOPER album, though. Mastermind, singer and guitarist Andy Dormann (KISSIN' BLACK, ex CHARING CROSS) and the guys rock on "Antiheroes" like there is no tomorrow. D'OR is a band that sticks out! Rough, authrntic and cool! Another track to check out first is the rather slow "Cold Drink In Hell". (MS)
