The only album (1989) of Canadian AOR band REGATTA is a rare treat which suits every serious collection pretty well. An expended booklet, three bonus cuts from 1985 and a pristine and remastered sound are arguments for purchase. This record will appeal to fans from GLASS TIGER and GIANT, too. Bassist and main songwriter Matthew Gerrard went on to successfully write songs for e.g. CHER, MILEY CYRUS or DISNEY's "High School Musical" after this band called it a day soon after the original release. Tracks like "Heartbreaker" or "Wherever You Run" offer massive hit potential. (MS)
