Fifth album of probably the biggest Swedish rock band ever and the last with guitarrist Kee Marcello in a valueable Rock Candy reissue. "Prisoners In Paradise" (1991) was not able to fully continue the huge success of "Final Countdown" (1986) and "Out Of This World" (1988) but tracks like "Prisoners in Paradise", "Halfway To Heaven" or "Girl From Lebanon" are true band standards if not classics, though. Produced by Beau Hill (e.g. WINGER, RATT) and the first time EUROPE collaborated with outside songwriters like e.g. Jim Vallance (BRYAN ADAMS) or Brian MacDonald. (MS)
