Southern rock icons VAN ZANT, that's mainly brothers Johnny (v, LYNYRD SKYNYRD) und Donnie Van Zant (g, .38 SPECIAL), surprise with their first album in almost twenty years. "Always Look Up" is made of the well-known ingridients like hard rock, a little bit of blues and and gospel flavored with a large slice of country, too, as well as lots of emotion. Lyric-wise it's Christian topics and themes offering a deep insight into the spirituality of the protagonists.
