Gus Monsanto - Dandelions (CD)

Brasilian vocalist GUS MONSANTO (e.g. ex-HUMAN FORTRESS, ex-ADAGIO, SUPREMACY) with his second solo effort which is nothing but a true sensation. The thundering "Imaginary Friends" or "What Doesn't Kill Me...", which starts rather quiet, set the frame here stylistically. His powerful voice and a really strong,  multi-layered production make this output shine. "Serendipity" could easily be a HAREM SCAREM song, though. "The Circus Left Town", on the other hand offers, a fantastic bass sound. A great melodic rock record, this "Dandelions". Thumbs up! (MS)
