Sweden and its huge and seemingly endless supply of fascinating AOR/melodic bands is an endless story and that's a great fact! PLEASURELAND and their self-titled debut offer tons of melodies and pretty versatile arrangements at times. Tracks like "Before I Die", "City Of Rain" or "Hate Stronger Than Love" for instance easily bridge the gap from the eighties into the here and now and spice everything with a slice of pop and Westcoast. Amazing AOR showcased by frontman Jonna Sailon and the guys with a flawless performance whatsoever. A must have! (MS)
