Sweet - Full Circle (CD)

SWEET with their final studio album. "Full Circle" is quite a bang. Rock veteran Andy Scott (g), active in the band for more than five decades, and the guys around frontman Paul Manzi (ex-ARENA, ex-CATS IN SPACE) manage to put out a great piece of work here. Tracks like "Burning Like A Falling Star" or "Destination Hannover" combine melodic rock music with pop elements. What a pity that their outstanding career is over obviously as the Brits didn't sound that good in a long time. They hit the nail in many respects, like songwriting, performance, mix or production.
