THE DEAD DAISIES put out their seventh regular album and this time it's John Corabi (v, ex MÖTLEY CRÜE), Doug Aldrich (g, ex-DIO, ex WHITESNAKE), David Lowy (g), Michael Devin (b, ex WHITESNAKE) and Tommy Clufetos (d, ex OZZY OSBOURNE, ex ALICE COOPER). The traditional and seventies infused hard rock which is played by this collective is nothing but stunning - despite their ever-changing line-ups over the last twelve years. You might have an opinion concering "projects" like these but the title track, "I Wanna Be Your Bitch" or "I’m Gonna Ride", for instance, are pretty cool songs and they simply rock big time. The last one being the best AC/DC song in years. But: No surprises at all! (MS)
