Moggs Hotel - Mogg's Hotel (CD) Digipak

The new band of UFO frontman Phil Mogg celebrates classic British hard rock and classic rock. After UFO ended, there were some unused ideas shelved somewhere and also bassist and keyboarder Tony Newton (VOODOO SIX) wrote some songs. Recorded in the studio of a certain Steve Harris (IRON MAIDEN) and a - given the very genre - surprisingly broad variety make this record a really good one. This, of course, is not limited to UFO fans only! The beautiful artwork and the intelligent, British humor infused lyrics should not go unmentioned here, too. Great debut! (MS)
