Kickstand Jenny - Between The Lies (CD)

KICKSTAND JENNY play melodic rock music in the vein of NICKELBACK or DAUGHTRY. The Americans from Santa Rosa Beach/Florida also incorporate influences from VAN HALEN up to PRINCE. "Between The Lines" showcases numerous infectious and melodic tracks like "Tonight" or "Solo". The latter comes with a blistering guest appearance of Mark Slaughter (v, SLAUGHTHER). Heavy guitars, versatile songwriting and expressive vocals make this quite a good output. A cool hard rock album with few and minor alternative elements, though. (MS)
