Mike Tramp - Songs Of White Lion Vol. II (CD)

Once again the sympathetic and constantly pretty busy Dane took ten songs from the WHITE LION catalogue and revamped them. Tracks like for instance "Lights & Thunder", "Lonely Nights" or "All You Need Is Rock'n’Roll" have been and still are nothing but great. Marcus Nand (g) from Tramp's solo band does not have to hide from WHITE LION's original axe slinger Vito Bratto (g), though. The track "The Road To Valhalla" probably showcases best how much Tramp's voice has evolved over the decades. Nevertheless, you gotta ask yourself whether you really need these recordings - although they are utterly brilliant! (MS)
