EARTH LUX convinces with their self-titled debüt which is full of melodic hard rock. The French songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Steph Honde and the Brazilian Fred Mika (d), who also writes songs, started this very promising project. The line-up is completed by well-known rock veterans Steve Mann (keys, MICHAEL SCHENKER, LIONHEART), Michael Voss (b, CASANOVA, ex-MAD MAX) and last but definitely not least Mark Boals (v, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN). A contemporary production with some seventies elements completes the picture. "Back Stage Business" should be a really good teaser. (MS)
